What are the A to Z databases? How do I pick a database?
Answer
The A-Z Database List is a list of all the databases that the library subscribes to or is freely available and is relevant to BTC programs. These are online collections of subscription content like newspapers, scholarly articles, movies, documentaries free to you online. To search these online resources you must pick one of the databases from the list.
How to Use the A-to-Z List
- To sort the list, use the subject or type filters
- Once you have selected your filters click on "Search"
- Review the Best Bet databases descriptions
- Click on the database title/ link
- Sign in with your 9-digit BTC ID number
Not Sure What Database to Search?
- Search in one of the 'Good Starting Point' databases: Academic Search Premier, Academic OneFile (Gale), Career and Technical Education (ProQuest),US Newsstream (BadgerLink)
- Ask a librarian.
