How do I find a periodical article?
Answer
- A periodical is a newspaper or magazine article. You can find free periodical articles through any of the library Newspaper and Periodical databases, we recommend using Career and Technical Education (ProQuest) or US Newsstream to search the widest selection of newspapers and magazines. Click on the database link to begin your search.
- Enter your topic keywords (read more about keywords here) into the database search box. Use the database filters to narrow the search result list to Full-Text articles.
- Use the library database filters to narrow your search results to include only "periodical" materials. In the US Newsstream database in the filter menu, select "more" under 'Source Type' then select 'Include' on Newspapers and Magazines:
