How do I know where a book is?

After you find a book is available in the Encore library catalog, how do you locate it? 

Answer

When you search for a book using the BTC Library Encore catalog, you will be able to view the books location, or if it is online, link directly to the resource. If it is a physical item in the library, it will have "call number" (a combination of numbers and letters) that is like the book's address, showing where it can be found, see this example of a call number shown in the Encore library catalog:

See the matching call number on the spine of the book below in the Student Success Center:

The call number is on the spine of the book on the shelf.
