How do I know where a book is?
After you find a book is available in the Encore library catalog, how do you locate it?
Answer
When you search for a book using the BTC Library Search, you will be able to view the books location, or if it is online, you can click on "View eBook". If it is a physical item in the library, it will have show you the book's location in the search result:
To find a physical book:
- See if the item's status and make sure that it is 'Available'
- See the location, the BTC Library has books in multiple spaces, it might be on the Monroe Campus or Central Campus in the Student Success Center, CARE Center (Central Building, Room 2220) or IDEA Lounge (Central Building, Room 1404)
- The Call Number is the book's address and where it will be on the physical shelf, some shelved have no call number and will be organized by author's last name.
Library staff can always help you find an item! Click on the book title to view more details about the resource.

Click on the "View eBook" link from the Library Search results page. The link will take you to the eBook database where you can borrow/read the book
