Downloading eBooks on eBook Central will allow you to read books even when you don't have access to the internet. You will need have Adobe Digital Editions software installed on a computer or smart phone (you will be prompted you to download it for free) and select the loan period, (how long you will have access to file). Follow these steps:

• Click on the “download book” button

• Select the device that you are using so that you download the correct file format for your personal device you would like to read the eBook on

• If this is your first time downloading an eBook you will need to download the free software application called Adobe Digital Editions by clicking the orange button. This is the app that you will use to read the eBook offline. 

• Select how long you need the book; you will have an option to have the file on your device for 1, 7, 14, or 21 days (please note that some digital books limit how many people can have the text downloaded at a time). You can also select either an ePub or PDF format, both will need to be opened with Adobe Digital Editions then click the download button.
