For students borrowing loaner equipment in Spring 2024 enrolled in Summer 2024 classes, there is no option to renew. The library will be completing inventory on all loaner equipment from May 20th-24th and your loan cannot be extended, eligible students can borrow equipment again first day of summer classes Tuesday May 28th.

Typically, to extend your due date for your equipment loans for HP Laptops and/or Wi-Fi hotspots you must be enrolled in credit courses in next semester, have no blocks on your account from late or non return of loaner equipment, and complete renewal instructions sent to BTC email addresses, typically a month before the semester is over from library@blackhawk.edu. Loaner Apple MacBooks Airs, and course equipment such as cameras and iPads are not eligible for renewal.
