Why isn't my link to library content found in a database not working?

If you have a broken link see this FAQ for tips on re-locating library content

Answer

We have resolved on issue with links to content (articles, books etc.) found in the BadgerLink EBSCO databases. But if you have a link to BadgerLink EBSCO content created before 9/19/2024 you will need to re-locate the item by searching the articles citation information, such as the title.

Here is a an example of a what a broken link looks like, it starts with //search-ebscohost:

https://search-ebscohost-com.btclibraryproxy.idm.oclc.org/login.aspx?direct=true&db=aph&AN=152502052&site=ehost-live&scope=site&authtype=ip,geo,custuid&geocustid=s7324964&custid=s7324964

To relocate the item, search the title of the article here:

https://btclibraryproxy.idm.oclc.org/login?url=All EBSCO BadgerLink Databases (Make sure to select "All Databases"

A working permanent link to your content should start with https://btclibraryproxy.idm.oclc.org/login?url=, here is an example:

https://btclibraryproxy.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=aph&AN=18337363&site=ehost-live&scope=site

See directions below for instructions on finding and linking to full text articles in BTC Library databases.
