How do I find the full-text article?

Finding complete articles in library databases.


Answer

Databases organize records of articles in addition to the complete articles themselves. Here are a few strategies for finding a complete article. 

  • Use the "Full-Text" filter

  • Look for HTML (Webpage File),  PDF or "Full Text from" (You will be able to link out to the website that hosts the article) options in your search results list

  • Expand your search to a greater number databases. Select choose databases:Choose databases option on the top of the search bar
  • Check the "Select all" box and enter the article title Pop up window, check the select all button
  • If the 'Full-Text' of an article is not in a database, try searching the article title in Google Scholar or contacting the library
