MacBooks are available to students enrolled in Digital Marketing, Administrative Professional, or IT Web Software Developer programs. To borrow a MacBook:

1. Schedule an appointment with the library (e-mail library@blackhawk.edu or call (608) 757-7705).
2. Plan for a minimum of 30 minutes to pick up the laptop. There is also a period of up to 2 hours after that the laptop needs to be connected to the internet to complete the software downloads and application installation. 
3. Bring your state issued photo ID, drivers license or state ID to the appointment
4. Library staff will walk through the set up process and software installs. 
5. Sign-into the laptop using your Blackhawk username and password.
6. Read and sign the Equipment Loan Agreement 
7. Take-home equipment, make sure to return items on time to avoid late fees and student account holds. 

The MacBooks are signed in to Apple with a Blackhawk Apple ID. Personal Apple IDs cannot be used to access apps (FaceTime, Music, etc). Students must sign in every 2 days before the device will require an internet connection to log-in. Software installed includes Adobe Creative Cloud Center (to download individual apps), Microsoft Office Suite, and Zoom.
