What are in-text citations?
Answer
Citation information appears both in the text of your paper and on your reference page. When a citation is in the text of your paper it includes the authors name and year of publication. Any sources you cite in-text of your paper should match with a full reference at the end of your paper.
In this example of a scholarly article that cites many different sources, highlighted are the in-text citations and matching the full citation on the reference page.
