Are there cameras available to borrow for Digital Photography and/or Intro to Video classes?
Answer
Yes, you can borrow a camera if you are enrolled in either Digital Photography and/or Intro to Video classes and have no library fines and/or blocks on your Blackhawk records resulting from non-payment and/or dropped classes etc. Cameras are available when these class's sessions begin. Cameras are available at the Library Help Desk in the Student Success Center (room 2200, Central Campus). There are multiple cameras, you can read more about them on the linked library catalog pages:
- Nikon Camera Kit - for Digital Photography course
- Canon Camera Kit - for Digital Photography course
- DJI Pocket 2 Creator Combo
- Smatree PowerStick for OSMO Pocket for Intro to Video
- ORDRO 4K Video Camera Camcorder
- DVC Digital Video Camera
- Tripods
Borrowing cameras from the library is easy:
- Bring your government issued photo ID (drivers license or state ID)
- Read and sign the loan agreement which includes information on late fees and equipment policies.
Return the camera on or before the last day of Digital Photography or Intro to Video to avoid late fees and account holds.
