Answer

Yes! Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service that allows students, staff and faculty to borrow items such as books, movies, music, articles and other physical items from multiple other libraries. This service expands the resources available to you to almost unlimited numbers.

  • If you cannot find it in the WISCAT catalog, or have questions, fill out the ILL form or email the library@blackhawk.edu
  • Library staff will send you you confirmation and pick-up information to your Blackhawk email address.
  • Items will be borrowed through your BTC Library account, you will need a photo ID to borrow items.
  • The lending library will determine the due date, typically 3 weeks or longer with a possibility to renew the loan.
