Answer
Yes! Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a service that allows students, staff and faculty to borrow items such as books, movies, music, articles and other physical items from multiple other libraries. This service expands the resources available to you to almost unlimited numbers.
- Search for library materials in the BTC Library Encore Catalog.
- If we don't have what you are looking for, search the interlibrary loan catalog WISCAT.
- Once you have found a title you would like to borrow, select "Request this Item" and fill out the form. Complete instruction for searching and requesting are on the Interlibrary Loan library guide.
- If you cannot find it in the WISCAT catalog, or have questions, fill out the ILL form or email the library@blackhawk.edu
- Library staff will send you you confirmation and pick-up information to your Blackhawk email address.
- Items will be borrowed through your BTC Library account, you will need a photo ID to borrow items.
- The lending library will determine the due date, typically 3 weeks or longer with a possibility to renew the loan.
